mandy was born in wigan on September 6, 1973 to Martin and kathleen Silcock. Two years later she was joined by a brother Simon. She married Nigel Penk in January 1993, and they had three wonderful children, James, Bethany and Cameron. Mandy originally left school and became a hairdresser but eventually followed her dream to become a midwife in which she qualified in September 2008. she was taken too soon on 21 May 2009 suddenly. Mandy is much loved and will always be remembered by all her friends and family. She was a wonderful, wife, mother, daughter,sister, niece, cousin,aunty, grandaughter and friend to a lot of people. She loved to speak her mind, was very loud and bubbly and was always smiling.
